Even though I had a very limited space allowance when I moved from Canada to the UK, my Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar eau de toilette made the cut, even though I only had a few drops left. It’s one of my all-time favourite perfumes, even when compared to higher end brands or celebrity-designed scents.
I think it's time to buy a new bottle!
Like it’s name suggest, Warm Vanilla Sugar is warm, vanilla-y, and sugary. Unlike other vanilla perfumes I’ve tried, this one doesn’t have floral notes, or that cold, clinical aroma of alcohol you sometimes smell when you first spray it. Instead, it’s a warm, comforting fragrance in a soft, sweet vanilla that is enhanced and made more complex with notes of coconut and sandalwood. It reminds me of a delicate and delicious vanilla frosting- the kind of scrumptious smelling perfume that makes others ask what you’re wearing and makes your boyfriend want to nibble at your neck. It’s not overpowering, but it is long lasting, and I can catch subtle traces of it throughout the day.
Because it’s made by Bath & Body Works, Warm Vanilla Sugar eau de toilette is also extremely reasonably priced, especially for the large 75 ml bottle. Even though Bath and Body Works doesn’t have stores in the UK, I will definitely be ordering a new bottle when mine finally runs out, and because I love it so much, I’ll even pay for shipping if I have to!
