When it comes to the summer months and the hemlines start shrinking, I, like many women, start to feel the pressure of looking great in that pair of shorts, in a bikini and in any other summer outfit that sees a bit more flesh on show.
Unless I am lucky enough to get a sunny holiday in at the beginning of the year, there is no possible hope of me starting the summer looking bronzed, so I often turn to a bit of help from a bottle.
Fake tans do scare me, I don’t like the unnatural, orange look so many of them give, and I don’t like streaky, patchy finishes that look so fake that they’re not convincing anyone that you’ve just stepped off the plane from somewhere fabulous.
This Sublime Bronze tinted lotion is ideal for me, as it’s partly a product that develops over time, and partly an instant product, so it offers the best of both worlds. You can see it as you’re putting it on, yet it also develops further to give you a deeper tan over time.
The product is easy to apply, it doesn’t smell amazing but no fake tan does, so it could be worse! It has a bit of gold shimmer, which gives a lovely finish to the skin.
The only downside was that it stained the palms of my hands, so I make sure I give them a good scrub after applying from now on!
