Pros: cats love them, has resealable pouch, low calorie
Cons: might be hard for an older cat to chew

Whiska's Tempation treats are well loved by my cats. All I have to do is take the bag and shake it and I have five cats surrounding me all looking for a handout. They get treats when they have been good after I get home from work and if I forget they surround me until I give them a few. The treats are only 2 calories per piece, so they do not contribute to the obesity of cats and I can give them two or three. They also control tartar on the teeth of the cats. I have one cat with terrible breath, but these treats seem to help that problem.

The treats are hard on the outside, but have a tasty soft inside. My cats scarf them up so fast, I'm surprised they can taste anything. There is no food dye in these treats, which is good because my cats do not react well with food dye. There is also no artificial flavors. Temptations come in chicken, turkey and seafood flavors. I switch between the chicken and the seafood flavor so my cats are not bored. The anticipate my return home from work every day.

We got our new kitten just a few weeks ago and he must be the pickiest eater in the world.  I grew up with cats and I have never experienced one that would not eat cat treats.  Not that cat treats are a necessity in a pets life but when the dog treats are passed around the cat gets a bit… Read more
