Pros: grain-free, no artificial ingredients
Cons: pricey

We treat our Boston Terrier like a member of the family and want to make sure he eats the healthiest dog food possible. After doing much research, we decided on Blue Buffalo as the brand to go with. We initially chose a different Blue Buffalo formula but it did not seem to sit right with his tummy. Our vet suggested we try a grain-free strain and that is when we started with Blue Buffalo Freedom. It doesn't have any corn, wheat, soy, or anything artificial ingredients. I also like that chicken, not a chicken by-product or poultry meal, is the first ingredient. Simple, de-boned chicken and veggies like whole carrots, sweet potatoes, and peas. We have noticed a big improvement in our pup's digestion, no more upset tummy. The kibble is just the right size, not too big and not too small. And apparently the flavor is great as our dog finishes a bowl of it in no time.

While this brand may be a bit more expensive than others, in my mind the benefits far outweigh the extra cost. Healthy food, for both people and pets, may cost more but improved health makes it all worthwhile in the long run.
