My hair is poker straight and baby soft. Even the softest wisp of wind blows it out of place and makes it look messy. Therefore, I need a strong holding hairspray to keep my hair looking as good as it can be. Most of these strong hold hairsprays make my hair hard, as if it would crack if you knocked on my head. Not so with Suave Max Hold Hairspray. My hair is still relatively soft and doesn't feel like an egg shell on my head, yet it stays in place even in a heavy wind.
Suave Max Hold Hairspray comes in several different strengths. I use number 8 in the aerosol can that is unscented. The hairspray also comes scented and in a pump bottle. I find the number 8 is just perfect for my short hair, but if I can't find it, I will usually use number 10 and it is just as good. It just makes my hair feel a little harder than I want it to be.
The can says the product contains vitamins and proteins that replenish health to the hair. It does not seem to strip anything from it. I can get away without washing my hair for two to three days and it still looks pretty fresh when I use the hairspray. One of the product's best attributes besides its ability to hold a style without making hair sticky, is the fact it is very inexpensive. It is the only hairspray I use.
