Pros: repairs hair, thick formula
Cons: odd scent, slightly higher cost

In trying to repair my color and heat damaged hair, I purchased the Vidal Sassoon Restoring Repair Conditioner to go along with the matching shampoo. I am very glad I decided to stick with the same collection.

The repairing conditioner works along with the shampoo to help repair damaged strands of hair, whether it’s from coloring, using heat, or just constant brushing. My hair suffers from all three conditions. I like the conditioner almost as much as the shampoo. It comes in a thick liquid solution, which makes it easy to not only apply to hair, but to massage through it, especially on longer or curly hair.

What I did not like about this conditioner as much as I did the matching shampoo is the scent. While I am used to conditioners having a slightly different scent than the shampoo, this conditioner has a much different scent. So once you use it, the two scents of the shampoo and conditioner combine to create a strong smelling effect in your hair. Once again, the price is slightly higher than other products on the market, but this conditioner really does work. I have seen the outcome on my damaged hair and am more than willing to put up with the weird scent as long as it keeps working.
