After our most recent dental appointment, it was recommended by our pediatric dentist that our son start using toothpaste with fluoride. The dentist had given us a sample of another product, but I was having trouble getting my son motivated to want to brush his teeth. So, I did a search for some toothpastes that were specifically for children that would have a decent flavor, not one that necessarily he wanted to eat, but one that had a decent taste he wouldn’t shy away from. We tried another product from another manufacturer that I bought, though I am not sure why, but my son just wanted to swallow the toothpaste.
Finally, another mother recommended that I try this 2 in 1 toothpaste product for kids. I got extremely worried initially that the flavor choices would only make my son want to eat them, but when we decided on watermelon and started using the product he didn’t. The easy squeeze bottle doesn’t make a mess (he can put it on his own toothbrush), he likes the taste, but it’s not sweet to where he wants to eat it. I have finally found a product that we both like, and it has helped to make brushing his teeth morning and night much easier. Perhaps when we run out of the watermelon flavored one we can try some of the other fun flavors.
