My household contains heavy coffee drinkers. We go through 3-4 pots of coffee each day, which means whatever coffee maker I have needs to be sturdy, reliable, and able to brew repeatedly. My Hamilton Beach 2-Way brewer is that coffee maker.
I purchased this coffee maker after my old faithful finally stopped beating up coffee. I wanted a coffee maker that I could get the full amount of cups possible, as well as a quick cup on the go when needed. This product does both. It came with a great travel mug, which fits in the single brew side just right and a glass carafe that holds 12 cups of coffee. It was slightly pricier than other coffee brewers, but it more than proves the price is worth it.
I like this 2-way brewer because it is also programmable. I can set it the night before to make my pot of coffee for any time I like, and it is very easy to set. The bright blue lights show me the clock, as well as whether the coffee pot is on or not. In addition, this particular coffee maker is a pause and serve, meaning I can grab that first cup of coffee without spilling as it brews.
With all of the good features I like, the single brew side is now my favorite. The brew basket for the single side contains a mesh metal filter for coffee grounds. It can also hold single-serve soft pods so I can have my flavored coffees as well. I have used it to brew soft pods of hot apple cider, amaretto coffee, and even lemonade. The entire coffee machine cleans easily, as do the individual parts.

Hamilton Beach 2-Way Brewer with Bright Lights
The only complaint that I have about this coffee brewer is that it does not hold plastic single pods. It does not have the needle that pierces the lids. To work around that problem, I simply open the lids and pour the grounds into the single side mesh basket.
