I am a huge fan of Palmer’s Cocoa Butter products, I just love the smell of the moisturizer, so when I noticed the lip balm on the shop shelf I decided I would give it a try. It comes in a really handy little wind up swivel stick, so it is ideal for popping into your purse so it’s there for whenever you feel like your lips need some moisture.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the product was how great it smelled, it’s just as good as Palmer’s other products, it smells like a mixture of cream and chocolate, which is very enticing. I wind the stick up just so a little pokes out of the top, otherwise you run the risk of breaking it as you apply it, and then I wind it back before I place the lid on, so it doesn’t get squashed at all when I place the cap back on.
The lip balm itself is really thick, but it goes on smoothly across the lips straight from the stick, so you can evenly coat them. It even smells great once it’s on your lips, and lasts for a good amount of time. The product makes my lips really soft for hours, and even more so over continued use.
