Living with sensitive skin can be difficult when it comes to choosing just the right make-up. Considering that foundation is literally the “foundation” of your make-up, it has to be perfect. CoverGirl is usually my go-to foundation. Nevertheless, my recent purchase of a different foundation from them proves not all are made equal.
I normally use the CoverGirl Clean liquid foundation, but decided to try the version for sensitive skin recently to see if it worked just the same. It does not on my skin. I have the medium light color, and after putting it on my face, it just will not rub in properly. Any place that I have dry skin, such as my T-zone, the liquid foundation goes on thick and cracks. It does not blend into the dry skin.
While the foundation is just as advertised- no scent and oil free, it falls short when it comes to full coverage on dry skin. On the oily areas of my face, the Clean Sensitive Skin foundation works great; it blends well and stays put. However, since I cannot make a wish and have my dry skin areas disappear; this foundation is not the right one for my face. If someone had just oily skin, or just sensitive skin, this foundation would be perfect for their face.
