Pros: creamy, long-lasting, variety of colors
Cons: tends to bleed

While most people may think CoverGirl as primarily a foundation and powder make-up company, they do have a number lipsticks from which to choose. I have tried many of their different lines, but prefer their LipPerfection Lipcolor products. The texture is smooth and creamy, which allows you to apply the lipstick evenly. It never feels chalky or thick on your lips. Also, I rarely need to reapply throughout the day, except after eating.

One thing I did notice about this particular line of lip color is that it has a tendency to bleed out of your natural lip line. This, however, can be easily addressed by simply applying lip liner in a complementary color. If you are not adept at using lip liner, you can set the lipstick with a light dusting of powder. This will help with the bleeding.

These lipsticks come in a wide range of colors, and you are sure to find one to suit your complexion perfectly. All of the colors are rich and beautiful, and it doesn't take much in the way of application to achieve the coverage you desire. One tube will last a long time which is great when you are trying to keep an eye on your spending habits.

When I shop for a new lipstick I look more to the color then to the brand. I am not sure if I am doing it the right way because there are many times  come home with a nice color but the quality is not that good. Read more
