Pros: chip resistant, easy to apply, great color
Cons: is a little expensive

Like with all Essie nail polishes, Butler Please has an excellent formulation that applies easily to my nails. I am never required to apply a top or bottom coat with Essie polish, I simply paint my nails and enjoy the long lasting effects of the polish. I do not have to re-apply my polish for up to 2 weeks when I use Essie polish. It is also chip resistant, which is great.

I purchased Butler Please during the summer months because even though it is a darker blue color, the brightness of it caught my eye and Royal colors including purple and dark green were in season. Butler Please goes with a variety of different colors and it looks great both on my fingernails and my toenails. I've also noticed that Essie polishes tend to have good color payoff and I rarely, if ever, have to apply more than one coat.

I also appreciate the fact that Butler Please is DPB, Toulene, and formaldehyde free. This means that when I apply the polish to my nails, I can feel better knowing that it's not ruining my nails underneath. Even after wearing Essie Butler Please for over two weeks, my nails will not be yellow underneath the polish when I am ready to apply another color.

I think one of my primary problems with Shearling Darling is that I was expecting it to be more of an oxblood kind of color, or a dark, blood red. This has more of a red-brown tone to it. It has more of a vamp flair than I was originally looking for. However, I certainly don't dislike the color. Read more

I love to paint my nails and have used many different brands and colors of nail polishes, but I have never found a brand I like as well as I like Essie. Read more
