Sally Hansen has always been one of my favorite nail polish creators. I've never been disappointed by the formula or the color pay off. I've always liked that the polishes have dimension and a little something extra. Spark is no different. Spark is a pretty deep blue that almost looks black. When the light shines on it though, the blue shimmer comes out and it looks gorgeous. The blue polish can be good for the cooler seasons. I especially like this color for my toes.
As lovely as the color is, I wish it didn't chip so easily. I find that if I don't put a top coat on it, it chips almost as soon as I wash dishes or do anything with water. Also if I don't use a top coat, if you scrap your nail against paper or a wall, the color comes off onto that surface. That's not very cool if you're turning in a project for work and you have a blue streak on it.
Another caveat for this polish is it stains. If you don't put down a base coat, you will have a blue tint to your nails unless you really rub at them with nail polish remover. Heaven forbid you get the polish on your skin, you will have a difficult time getting the blue off of your skin.
I love this polish because the color is so pretty. I just wish it wore nicer.
