I love The Body Shop's Vitamin E skin care line for winter, when my skin is more dry than usual, and their Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream keeps my skin soft and smooth all day and all night. It's got a much thicker consistency than a day cream or lighter moisturizer, which provides a more intensive hydration for your skin overnight, but I often use it as my day cream as well, especially when my skin starts getting that tight, itchy feeling of dryness that comes with the colder weather.
It smells lovely, like the cuddly, fresh scent of adorable babies, a comforting fragrance that helps relax me after my nighttime skin care routine. The cream even has a pale pink tint to it, which adds a touch more femininity. It moisturizes well without being greasy or too heavy, but with shea butter as one of the key ingredients, it adds lasting moisture and makes your skin feel soft and velvety smooth.
The only downside I've found with this cream is that, because my skin gets oilier in the warmer months, if I try to use this overnight it leaves my skin feeling too moisturized, and has occasionally caused minor breakouts. It's not a fault of the cream, though, only a con to my skin changing temperament with the seasons.
