One of the worst problems I have living in the dry heat of California is dry and cracked skin. My legs and arms take the brunt of the damage, while my elbows suffer not only from the heat, but also from working at a desk and putting them up on the desk all day. I’ve tried so many lotions it’s ridiculous. I have tried the highest priced lotions available, as well as a few lower cost lotions. Most of them have no effect on my dry skin or dry patch areas. As the mother of three children, I have also used nearly every baby product on the market, including lotions. The only lotion I used for my babies was Johnson’s Baby Lotion.
So while using one lotion for my dry adult skin, I ran out. Luckily, I had a brand new bottle of Johnson’s Baby Lotion in the cupboard. I needed something to use immediately, and even though it is marked as baby lotion, I tried it.
There are so many things about this product that I like. I enjoy the smell, which is a light and fragrant and smells slightly of new babies. I like the thickness of the lotion itself, which means you do not have to use as much. I also like that it does not leave my skin with an oily feeling when it dries. Using Johnson’s Baby Lotion has helped all my dry skin areas, including my very cracked elbows.
