I have been trying so many different pore refining products over the years and the thing is that we are born with the pore size that we have, but the pore size can slightly change during life due to oil, dead skin cells and so on being stored in the pores and that makes the pores larger then they was in the first place.
There are some products that can help snap the pores together a little bit, but it usually only last for a few hours at a time. This Neutrogena Pore Refining Exfoliating Cleanser does not work for me at all. I have normal pores but due to my oily skin many of my pores have become larger then they usually appears to be.
This cleanser cleans the face good, and it smells good too. It contains alpha and beta hydroxy acids that gently peels the surface of the skin, getting rid of old and dead cells that can clog the pores if they are not being removed on a regular basis.
With that said, it is a good cleanser but it does not do what it promised and therefor I can just spend my money on another cleanser that I like much better.
I usually don't spend a whole lot on face cleanser. I usually just buy whatever store brand I can find, or a brand that is on sale, and I'm perfectly happy with itthe skin on my face isn't incredibly high maintenance. Read more
