It is really hard to find shoes when you have a long, lean foot. My feet aren’t narrow; they are a regular B width, but they are lean, so lots of shoes in my size end up feeling floppy, and in the case of running shoes, there is just too much space above my foot, so even if I lace them really snugly, there is extra material that looks weird.

I say all this because I ordered these running shoes designed by Heidi Klum for New Balance. They came today, and they fit like a dream! It’s like they were designed for the shape of my feet. They hug my feet all around and are very flattering. Although they are really comfortable, I do not think they are necessarily sturdy enough for a long walk. I tried a two-mile city walk, and my feet were kind of sore afterward. They are very flexible and very light weight, which I think makes them poorly suited for serious walking. But they are perfect for just wearing around though, and good enough for walking shorter distances. I mostly love them because they are just a lovely design and so pretty on my feet!
